We all know vintage is in for adults, but don't forget the kids too!  Why not update your child's wardrobe with retro items as well?  You can find outfits of all different sizes, shapes, and genders at the Southport Antique Mall.  Don't spend a fortune on an outfit that half of the other children are wearing.  Make your child's wardrobe as unique and fabulous as they are!

An outfit isn't complete without accessories!  But why overpay at the mall for plastic earrings that everyone else is wearing?  Antiquing isn't just for your grandma anymore.  It's a great way to add color, style, and that last perfect touch to any outfit.

Dear Dealers,

Well summer is upon us and our sales are feeling it!  But do not lose faith, May and June are often slow due to weddings, showers, graduations, etc.  I am sure all of you are as busy as our wonderful patrons.  Just keep plugging away refreshing your merchandise and making our store beautiful as you always do.  The heat of July always brings them back in droves.

We are so excited to tell you all that Southport Antique Mall will be participating in the Indianapolis Pride Parade this Saturday (June 8) in downtown Indianapolis.  This will be the 25th year for the parade and we are very enthusiastic to finally be a part of all the fun.  We will gain some great exposure.  Please feel free to show your support by attending the parade, it has been voted one of the top 10 pride parades in the nation!  It is a family event and all are welcome.  Our float theme is “25 years of toys out of the closet”  so if you do your math right, that puts us back in the dark ages of the 1980’s(ha) so you will see a little Strawberry Shortcake, Barbie, Star Wars etc.  It is bound to be a wonderful morning. The parade begins at 10am at the corner of Massachusetts and College Ave and ends at the Indianapolis Public Library.  It is a free event!  Come on out and enjoy our beautiful city!

We hope you have had a chance to visit the upstairs of the store lately, our showroom is finally open.  Although we will be adding more “awesome stuff” we are pretty pleased with the results thus far.  We had great time developing the layout and hope to continue to expand on what I feel is a great opportunity for the store and our dealers.

Wishing you all the best that summer can bring!  Thank you for being a part of the S.A.M. family. Blessing to you and yours!

Alissa
